The American Artisanal Cheese Course Gift Collection offers a complete gourmet cheese course that showcases some of the country's most distinctive cheeses. Artisanal cheeses are created in small batches and crafted carefully by hand. These selections are made using traditional methods and milk from local farms, enabling the cheese maker to capture the subtle nuances particular to the region. Delight foodies with an array of complementary cheeses and gourmet accompaniments expertly selected to excite the palate. The American Artisanal Cheese Course Gift Collection includes:

The American Artisanal Cheese Course Collection

  • Aged Gouda (Cow milk) - Created by a fourth-generation master cheese maker, this firm cheese calls the verdant pastures of Central Wisconsin home. Aged for over 6 months, the velvety texture and the nutty tang make for an arresting combination.
  • 3 Year Old Cheddar (Cow milk) - Made in the Amish country of Central Pennsylvania by a community of Plain dairy farmers, including those of Amish, Brethren and Mennonite religions. The small farms are worked in the traditional manner with horse-drawn plows by all members of the family. The Cheddar is complex and assertive with layers of flavors and textures being at once creamy and crumbly.
  • Cave-Aged Blue (Raw cow milk) - In the tradition of Roquefort and Gorgonzola, this blue cheese matured for 70 days in the sandstone caves of Southern Minnesota, where it benefited from the cool temperatures and high humidity levels. Discover how the turquoise colored veins add a bold tingle to the creamy, rich taste.
  • Net weight 15oz. Serves 4 – 6 people.

The Cave-Aged Blue Cheese with the Pear and White Wine Confit on the Walnut Crackers is absolutely delicious! The
olives are so good, especially after a bite of the cheddar! I highly recommend this if you are entertaining. It's a
quick and easy appetizer to put together. The cheese guide was so helpful with what wine to serve with the
cheese.rnIt's also an excellent gift for any time of the year!
