The American Artisanal Cheese Course Collection
Aged Gouda (Cow milk) - Created by a fourth-generation master cheese maker, this firm cheese calls the verdant pastures of Central Wisconsin home. Aged for over 6 months, the velvety texture and the nutty tang make for an arresting combination.
3 Year Old Cheddar (Cow milk) - Made in the Amish country of Central Pennsylvania by a community of Plain dairy farmers, including those of Amish, Brethren and Mennonite religions. The small farms are worked in the traditional manner with horse-drawn plows by all members of the family. The Cheddar is complex and assertive with layers of flavors and textures being at once creamy and crumbly.
Cave-Aged Blue (Raw cow milk) - In the tradition of Roquefort and Gorgonzola, this blue cheese matured for 70 days in the sandstone caves of Southern Minnesota, where it benefited from the cool temperatures and high humidity levels. Discover how the turquoise colored veins add a bold tingle to the creamy, rich taste.
Net weight 15oz. Serves 4 – 6 people.

Customer Reviews:Charles Carter (Wednesday, 21 October 2009) Rating: Simple!!! Needed a last minute holiday gift for my assistant and this fit the bill. Took five minutes to order and I
was done, best part is she LOVED it. She has already let me know she wants more cheese this year. Done!
Samantha Szuter (Thursday, 15 October 2009) Rating: This gift collection is a great hostess gift, especially for if you are traveling for the holidays. I ordered mine last
year and it was perfect because a) I was able to contribute to the holiday meal by providing a nice cheese course to
start, b) the cheese board and knives are something that the hostess can use in the future and, c) it was delivered to
her house so I didn’t have to lug a hostess gift with me on the airplane! It would be nice to see more variety than
just the American and Mediterranean cheeses, but maybe in the future there will be more collections to choose from???
(Wednesday, 14 October 2009) Rating: I loved this cheese so much that I sent this gift collection to my friend for her Birthday. She thought everything was
delicious and said that the cheese board was beautiful. It's a great gift idea!
